For people having trouble cheating and don't understand how to use .pnach files. I will upload the ones i have done so far and for any who have specific games they want cheats for. I will accept request and i will do it and upload the files.
just let me know what version (ntsc-u/pal) and the codes you want. The files i upload go in the pcsx2 cheat folder and every time you start game the cheats will load automatically. I will put link in description so you can know what i am doing. You will...

Tales of Abyss cursor is always pushing up (need help!)

Hi guys, I've been playing for awhile Tales of Abyss and suddenly my the cursor started to push up all the time. That is to say my character is running up all the time and you can't do anything with it. I am using the last version of emulator and plugins. I tried gamepads Lilly and ssspsx, tried to switch off everithing, all the hacks, tried to install earlier version of emu, but still it is running all the time up. Other games are fine, no problems, just beat ffx. Can anyone help please.

Hello to everyone who reads this thread, as the title of the thread says, I am here to provide game saves and cheat patches for as many games as I can, even though there's a sticky for cheat patches I've decided to put my patches on a different thread so I could keep track what cheat titles I have already released. Can't Play kingdom hearts 2

I just just got PCSX2 and just downloaded Kingdom hearts 2.

I don't know anything about PCSX2 and can't figure out how to start the game.

It sounds stupid but here's the kicker. I extracted the .rar folder and there is a kg2.img file which I try to run, but when I do it doesn't work and I get a message saying "File not found. Path: IsoFileSystem"

Hello everyone, I want to start by saying I am fairly new to the whole emulation thing, so please bear with me if I sound a little rookie-ish (it's because I am). I've tried playing a list of games I had for my PS2 when I was a kid, but when I was introduced to emulating by my friend, he never mentioned that the .iso's were mostly buggy (I originally believed them to be EXACT replicas of games, without flaw.) So, anyway, here is my very small list:

NTSC-U games don't work in newer revisions with PAL BIOS anymore!

It's been awhile since I tried a new revision of PCSX2 so I downloaded 1.3.1-410 from the orphis buildbot to check out what's been going.

The thing is I own a mix of PAL and NTSC-U games and I have a PAL Sony PlayStation 2 SCPH-7702 slim model that I dumped my BIOS from.

I haven't been able to play the NTSC-U games on the console so I have had to rely on PCSX2 and it have worked perfectly fine using my dumped BIOS up until now.
I know I tried the 1.3.1 revision quite some time ago and it...

Kingdom Hearts Freeze

So I decided to actually try and play Kingdom Hearts (well, LP anyways), and figured it should be fine since KH2: Final Mix ran perfectly for me. So I started the game, got to past the part in the introduction where you talk to Tidus/Wakka/Selphie, and was about to fix some Heartless...and the game freezes when I attack. Tried this again, and froze in that same room while trying to attack. I tried to turn off Speedhacks, but testing again it froze in a much earlier room.

Hello guys, I had some problems with my emulations.
The version is r4169
My PC spec is AMD Phenom II 635@3.4 , with a grafic card of 9800GT.
when I loaded the Silent hill 3, the first half of the intro CG was good, but just in the middle of it, it freeze. so I can't see the rest of it. when it freeze, I just hear the sound looping, and at the same time I found the script in the console windows said:

Assertion Failed - can't start the game

Hi guys. I used to play many games and everything was working fine, but suddenly some of the games started to crush. The games are Shin Megami Tensei Nocturne, Radiata Stories and Dragon Quest VIII. For example, when I boot Shin Megami Tensei Nocturne ISO, the company label appears, than another one and after the intro about to start the game crashes with a message outside of PCSX2:

Assertion Failed: FQC = 0 on VIF FIFO READ!

Hi, I hope someone can help me ^^

I have an amd dual core, Ati radeon hd 4850 1gb, and 4 gb of ram (If that helps for something).

So, I wanted to play persona 4 in the emulator, tried to configure the lowest settings to my understanding. I get around 30-40 fps in videos and such, and a bit more of 40 (maybe a bit less than 50? I don't remember exactly, I had this question in my head for a bit of time before posting).

It's kinda playable with a few slow fps, so I was wondering if you could...

I tried to be descriptive in the title. I am playing an Iso of my physical disc Way of the Samurai 2 on PCSX2 because my ps2 has had some wear over the years, and is beat up, and it doesn't always work right with discs anymore. Its the US Version, and the pnach file I am using is named "1B3EDC36.pnach".

It is working and the cheats are activating, the file is stored in the Program Files\PCSX2\Cheats folder. I wanted to choose what clothing and body types I wanted from the get go and just have...

Hey guys, I have a problem with PSU on PCSX2..

The game was running flawlessly, and I was mostly just 'pausing' the emulator and then just Resumed gameplay, but I had to restart my computer earlier and then when I wanted to start the game, it just resulted in a black screen and nothing more. The game refuses to start up.

The odd part is that I am able to load a Save State just fine from this point, and then log out to reach the main menu screen, but other than that it refuses to start...

Problem with Phantasy Star Universe. (Black screen when booting).

Hey guys! I made it passed the "Tidus in auron Look!'' glitch. Now I am at the next one, which I have heard is the last definitive one. I was wondering if there was a save for the International FFX version (japanese version).

Preferably with English audio and Expert sphere grid.

Hello...I'm currently playing FF12. So far, the game play is decent. A little slow occasionally but overall not bad. However, the sound is always slow and choppy or it skips during normal game play but it doesn't sound choppy or skip when it's playing cut scenes. I just recently downloaded this program (pcsx2 vs. 0.9.7.2661 (svn)) and I'm not yet completely familiar with all of the features yet. Perhaps someone with more experience could help out.

My computer only has a single core...

Controller Issues

I'm having a problem with using my controller. I'm using a Logitech F710, which has an identical layout to a PS2 controller. I've mapped all the buttons, etc., and they all work...technically. There seems to be something wrong with the thumbsticks. There's nothing wrong with the controller, itself, I've used the controller, including thumbsticks, with a variety of pc games, and emulators just fine. Dark Cloud 2 Lag help

Im playing Dark Cloud 2. Lagging of sound occurs through out the game, cutscenes and gameplay. The first day i play i had no problems but now after one night i get these frame drops every 5 minutes or so. Are my setting wrong?

during the lag:

EE: 100%
GS: caps at 50%



Specs:
OS: Win 7 64 bit
Processor: Intel Core i7
Memory: 8 gigs RAM
DirectX version 11
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560M

Error When Saving State

I am using PCSX2 v1.2.1-r5875 which I downloaded from the main PCSX2 site, and it has been working fine until today. Now, whenever I try to save a state I get an error message which I will post a screenshot of below. I have tried removing all traces of PCSX2 and using a fresh install, but that did not fix the problem. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
